Biography

Threat Signal is a Canadian metal band based in Hamilton, Ontario (although most of the different members of the band originating from various regions in Ontario). Formed in 2003, they have released two studio albums and toured with bands like Mnemic, Soilwork, Epica and Darkest Hour.

Threat Signal was formed in late summer of 2003 by two cousins Jon and Rich Howard, who later also include composer / guitarist Kyle McKnight. The three then found a drummer Adam Matthews in early 2004. Threat Signal posted their song "Rational Eyes" in the international metal chart into a site GarageBand.com. After several weeks, the song they were able to reach rank # 1 (top), and has received many awards including best guitars, best drums, best male vocals, best production, song of the week, and song of the day. In August 2004, Eric Papky, Kyle McKnight's former guitar teacher, joined the band as bass player. Success on GarageBand.com sparked several record labels interested in glancing at them with the help of the initial procurement of the event and create a community of fans even before the band played live. In August 2005 Marco Bresette Eric Papky replaced on bass guitar.
